The ABC’s of CBG

Many people have heard of CBG (Cannabigerol) but don’t really know what it is.

Don’t worry – we are here to help.

CBG is Cannabigerol – a type of cannabinoid obtained from the cannabis plant. There are many other cannabinoids in cannabis plants, including Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBG is found in much smaller quantities than other cannabinoids in cannabis plants. This makes CBG products rare, and often, more expensive.

CBG is often compared to CBD because it shares many similarities. However, the way CBG interacts with our endocannabinoid system is different from CBD in that it binds directly to both CB1 and CB2 receptors, which may make it more efficient at delivering its benefits. Because it takes time and commitment to extract CBG, not many companies are up to the task. Our CBG is derived from pristine young plants, which contain higher amounts of the cannabinoid than fully developed plants. Our CBG is ultra-clean, and unlike THC, it has no psychotropic effects, so it will not give you a high.

If you are interested in trying CBG, we hope you’ll try some of ours. We take pride in producing the world’s finest CBG and look forward to sharing this remarkable cannabinoid with you.
